The program aims to provide students with basic knowledge of law and occupational health and safety. Following this, detailed information is provided to classify workplace risk factors under main categories such as physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial risks.
Within the framework of the core education program, the mining and construction sectors are specifically addressed. In addition, workplaces in sectors like metal and chemical industries, which are significant in terms of work accidents and occupational diseases, are also examined. The program includes training on risks arising from the tools, materials, and equipment used in workplaces and methods for protecting against these risks.
